Reservation Questions:

How can I get a quote?  Call us to get a quote for any trip. We charge according to a pricing manual set by the City. Reasonable quotes guaranteed!

Can I arrange a local pick up in Hoboken?  We do have cars available in Hoboken certified by the City Hall of Hoboken. Expect us to get to your location within the timeframe specified by the dispatcher which is usually five minutes in non-peak hours.  The only exception occurs on Saturday-your patience and collaboration will be really appreciated.

How to make a reservation with Hoboken A-1?
All reservations to all destinations are made by calling 201 659 9191.
To airports: We will need the pickup address and the destination airport.
From airports: We will need the flight number to track it down, airport name and the destination address to where you wish to drive to.
Manhattan: We will need the pickup address and the destination address.
All other reservations: We will need any helpful information that would make your pickup as smooth and easy as possible.

*Any reservation made out of Hoboken must require a valid credit card to hold your reservation.


How much time does it take to go to anywhere?
Under normal circumstances, here is an average travel time:

Hoboken to JFK Airport 40 ~ 75 minutes.
Hoboken to LaGuardia 30 ~ 60 minutes
Hoboken to Newark Liberty International Airport 14 ~ 18 minutes.
Hoboken to Midtown Manhattan 20 ~ 40 minutes.
Hoboken to downtown Manhattan 18 ~ 39 minutes.
Hoboken to all other destinations ~ vary.

The traffic flow form Hoboken to New York City is unpredictable. Add extra time for bad weather, during holidays and parades and rush hours.

What are the payment options? CASH or Visa-MasterCard-Discover-American Express- Diner Club.


Can I cancel or change a reservation?  Yes, you can cancel or change your reservations, but when canceling a reservation you must call in advance within 2 to 3 hours ahead of you schedule pick up. If not notify ahead of time the company will charge you for the service.

My plane is not going to be on time, what should I do? Simply call us as soon as you notice a change in time of arrival.

Where do I meet my Chauffeur?
Airports Pick up:  
We like to hear from you once you walk out of the plane. Next, once you claim your luggage (if you have one), call the dispatcher to let him/her know where you are going to be standing outside of the terminal. The so-called "door number" or pickup area (number outside of most of the airport's terminals), the chauffeur will drive directly to that pickup point to meet with you.
Train or bus stations or terminals:  You should manage to meet the driver in some location where stopping or standing is not prohibited. Call the dispatcher to coordinate your pickup. He or she can advise you where to be.
Any other pickup:  Right in front of the pickup address.

Can I get a receipt? All Chauffeurs carry receipts for cash or credit payments.

Can I call if I need a vehicle right away?
If you are in Hoboken ,
don’t hesitate – we are Hoboken A1.
If you are out of town , in (Manhattan, airports, or any other town) and you wish to come back to Hoboken... Yes you can. We will do our best to estimate the vehicle time of arrival, usually based on how far from Hoboken. We strongly suggest making a reservation in advance at no additional cost.

Can I get a Callback?
In general, yes. Please take a moment to review our callback policy bellow:

Callback is managed differently, divided into two divisions:

FOR HOBOKEN LOCAL CALLS : Callback only upon request, otherwise the estimated arrival of the vehicle is about 5 minutes.
OUT OF TOWN PICKUP : Once the chauffeur reports to be in front of the pickup address, the dispatcher will call back the provided phone number at reservation. It is important to answer this callback to ensure that you get the car we sent to you.
AIRPORTS : In order to make your pickup as smooth and easy as possible, communication between you and the dispatching office is crucial. Either way, soon after the plane lands, please get in touch with us. Next, once you claim your luggage (if you have one), call the dispatcher to let him/her know where you are going to be standing outside of the terminal. The so-called "door number" or pickup area (number outside of most of the airport's terminals), the chauffeur will drive directly to that pickup point to meet with you within 2 to 5 minutes.

What happens if I don’t get a callback?  The client is responsible for being in the vehicle at the time of pick-up, even if client did not receive a call from Hoboken A-1. Hoboken A-1 cannot be responsible for calls which are not going through, or when a client provides a telephone for callback that is not working, or that is going to voicemail, or client is getting bad cellular signal receiving.
